Oh my… what an enthralling narrative. This book is a MUST read because not only does it portray the dedication, consistency and persistency of the author, it is also a validation that dreams are valid. I could not stop once I started reading as i saw an intriguing journey of a trail Blazer in a family that stuck together to win together amid all snags.
The book tells the meager beginner that dreams do come to fruition if you stay the course, and to those with broken dreams that persistency and consistency is the name of the game because it is never too late to do and be whatever your heart desires.
Thank you for enlightening us on some of the most controversial topics in America like debts, credit cards, mortgage, racism, guns etc. as some of these represent the different arenas where people are kept in captivity.
Thanks Gabby for your inspiration because I won’t stop until i feel fulfilled in my heart. I see a lot of me in your book as an immigrant who came to “the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE” looking to hit a financial home run so that i can take care of my family also.
I cannot wait for the second edition and until then, God bless!
I truly enjoyed Mr. Njinimbot’s memoir. His story reminds us that every one of us comes to these United States from “somewhere else” to seek a better life and harvest prosperity. Through Gabriel’s “dedication, persistence, and consistency,” he was able to start with little and become a colossal success, both educationally and professionally, while returning far more to society than he ever borrowed.
This book excavates buried memories of the past, then deconstructs and reconstructs them using simple language and humor. You see your own childhood upbringing through the reflective mirrors in Njinimbot’s narrative.
