Opioids Epidemic. The Best Way to stay clean of drug addition is not to start in the first place.

The OPOID epidemic. Oxycontin-Fentanyl-heroin.. The best way to stop the addiction is not to start in the first place. recently I have been fascinated with a lot of worldly events like space exploration, law, science, mathematics, health issues and so on. And this has really changed the way I see a lot of things on this planet. One of them that intrigue me the most is addiction to drugs and pain medication like Opioid pain killers like Oxycontin, Oxycodone, Percocet etc
a potent pain killer that is used across America especially for cancer patients and aids and very addictive. Its also used beyond cancer patients. marketed by Perdue pharma.

It has destroyed the life of thousands of people in America. I am not going to get into the politics of how the pharmaceutical companies get their way through approval from the FDA to flood these drugs into Main Stream America, but will rather want to talk about helping our families especially the millennial to avoid it if they are not suffering from chronic diseases like cancer or any terminal illness. these medications though very helpful killing pains and in some cases help people get high, it destroys and set people on a downhill journey that sometimes leads to death.

Overdose kills thousands in this country on a daily basis. Pharma companies like Perdue had paid 600 millions in fines for misrepresenting Oxycontin as a non addictive which had landed many Americans into health issues.

I like to urge people to talk to family members especially our young children who are getting exposed to this world to understand the significance of this emergency. Its an epidemic which is real and can derail life forever. I watched a documentary on NOVA PBS of a family so devastated after loosing a freshman in college just three days after he was dropped off college. not a fun thing. Parents please do not take your eyes off your children. Talk to them about not getting involved in the first place. The hardest part of this is withdrawing from it. the easiest way to stop it is not to start in the first place.

Statistics has shown that withdrawing from any drug addiction could take as much time as 14 months and you can easily relapse even after 14months. Most very successful people have either failed, gone bankrupt or eventually die as a result. Rehabilitation will clean up but its not a magic bullet. Don’t let this happen to anyone who know or love. The results are so devastating. Kids will get into this behind their parents back. Heroin is the most addictive. very addictive and easy to fall back on even after 2yrs of staying away from it. The best way to stop it is not to start in the first place.

High school kids, college kids, middle class kids, wealthy white and black kids need all the help they need to keep our children out of this epidemic. Statistics show that mostly white people do heroin but that does not exonerate any other color of humans. It could be your kids. Keep an eye on the kids, they are the next generation of everything.
